Holding an event? Looking for a really distinctive venue? The Gemeentemuseum Den Haag is just what you need. The fabulous setting of our 1935 Art Deco building, designed by top Dutch architect H.P. Berlage, will make your event a truly memorable experience. Spaces in the adjacent Hague Museum of Photography/GEM building are also available. Our many previous clients include Shell, KPN, Nationale Nederlanden, Rabobank, Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn, and various government ministries.
The museum’s recently roofed-in courtyard garden is now a wonderful Garden Gallery with good acoustics, a pleasant climate and space to entertain up to 700 people. With its Garden Gallery, Foyer, Auditorium, Upper-Floor Reception Area and numerous smaller meeting rooms and spaces, the Gemeentemuseum offers an outstanding location for any dinner, reception, seminar, meeting, concert or presentation, whatever the number of people involved.
During museum opening hours, Museum Catering will take care of the culinary aspects of your programme. At other times, you are free to choose your caterer by agreement with the museum. Where technical services are concerned, we will be happy to recommend our preferred partners, if we cannot meet your needs in-house. We will also be delighted to enhance your event by linking your mission to the top works of art on show at the Gemeentemuseum, for example during a guided tour, talk or word of welcome by one of our experts.
The Gemeentemuseum is conveniently situated between the centre of The Hague and the coastal resort of Scheveningen. Free street parking is available immediately outside and a tram and bus stop is located directly opposite the main entrance.
Our Event Managers Danny Voshart and Iris de Jager will be pleased to answer all your questions. Contact them via (+31) (0)70 338 1173 or email@example.com.
