Children's museum night
Younger visitors will be welcome to attend Children’s Museum Night, starting at 4 p.m. with an official opening in the Gemeentemuseum’s garden gallery. Parents and children can attend the special opening ceremony on production of a Museum Night passé-partout. Afterwards, three young stars of Hague theatre school RABARBER will perform a play called ‘Plaaggraag’, there will be face-painting sessions, and artworks will come to life in the galleries. Primary school kids, teenagers and their families can also visit the thirteen spectacular rooms in the Wonderkamers section (open all night) to experience a wonderful world in which they can design their own Berlage buildings, dance the Boogie Woogie urged on by Mondrian himself, or don sensational costumes and strut their stuff on the catwalk.
